Meat Loaf

I've been making meatloaf since I was a young girl.
I taught my daughter when she was ten. My Uncle
Harry liked it so much, he asked for my recipe. So,
here it is for you meat loaf lovers.

  • 1 1/2 - 2 lbs. of Hamburger
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups Italian seasoned bread crumbs
  • 1/3 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup mustard
  • 1/4 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1 package onion soup mix
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese (optional)
  • 1 large mixing bowl
  • 1 9 x 13 cake pan
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  1. Make sure you wash your hands
  2. Put hamburger in bowl
  3. Put all other ingredients in bowl
  4. Use hands to squish it and mix it
  5. Take blob and put it in cake pan
  6. Shape into a short fat bread loaf
  7. Beat into submission so meat is packed
  8. Bake for 45 minutes to an hour
